Welcome!
I decided to set up this website to showcase some of my children’s stories and some of the handmade original wet felt and needle felted cats and dogs and other animals that I have designed and made in my studio at home. Although I have a literary agent I am still waiting for the big publishing break to come along, however I have been busy making commissions for interested parties including authors and artists Abie Longstaff, Colin West and Grace Sandford to name but a few clients. I regularly sell a range of my felt animals with quirky profile stories in Altrincham, where Nick Johnson wrote and published, “Stephanie Cowburn has got to be the most talented felt artist around.”
Please feel free to contact me, anything you see here is either for sale or can be commissioned, any animal you don’t see here but would like… again, please contact me – I can usually turn my skills to almost anything!
Thank you for visiting the site, it will change regularly so ‘bookmark’ it and call again soon.
Love Stephanie X
